In addition to her love of art, travelling and cooking, the author has had, for more than 20 years, a passion for the world of cigars and the lifestyle that surrounds them. Cosima shares her knowledge and experience with fellow aficionados and hotels in the creation of top Cigar Lounges and in the organisation of exclusive Cigar Dinners around the world.
In the 2016 Cigar Smoking World Championship, Cosima was crowned UK champion and new world record holder in the women’s slow smoking category y with a time of 2 hours, 9 minutes and 6 seconds. ‘For me, smoking a cigar is like opening a good bottle of wine. Every cigar is unique – feel it, look at it, smell it, taste it and listen.’

I present here some of the most beautiful and interesting from that esteemed group. In CIGAR LIFESTYLE, I focus on the most beautiful things that surround the pleasure of cigar smoking. After a short introduction into the Cigar Etiquette, finally, I let several international cigar connoisseurs have their say. The interviews and photo shoots in INTERNATIONAL CIGAR AFICIONADOS were not only entertaining to produce, but also very informative (full interviews on thecigarworld.net). A coffee table book on such a varied, multi-layered topic cannot claim to be exhaustive. Nevertheless, I promise you a glimpse into a truly distinctive and magical world.
