Biography Claire Bingham

Claire Bingham is an interiors journalist who writes about architecture, design, and style for several publications worldwide. Before becoming an author with her first book Modern Living, she was the Homes Editor for UK Elle Decoration and her work has been featured in international glossies, including Vogue Living and Architectural Digest. Scouring the globe for inspiring interiors and discovering the talents behind the scenes, she is interested in well-considered design that fits with our individual needs. Ultimately, she writes about the design and decoration of people’s homes and how they like to live.

 A Beautiful Mess

(…) Bingham has chosen homes filled with pattern and print, whimsy and wildness (…)

The author of this book is an interiors journalist based in the United Kingdom who has worked on magazines both in the UK and internationally. In A Beautiful Mess she embraces layered individuality, and when she talks of ‘eclecticism‘, the buzzword could be replaced with ‘life‘, in all its disarray and unplanned glory. Bingham has chosen homes filled with pattern and print, whimsy and wildness. They are shown with optimism and, accordingly, decorating tips and ideas are woven throughout.
